About 2,000 artists, 100 events and six stages make up the 4th edition of the City Festival, which celebrates 467 years of Salvador. A series of cultural and entertainment activities began on Sunday (27), with theatrical performances and recitation of poetry in the square. With an extensive and diversified program, the City Festival runs until the 3rd of April.
The event takes care of public spaces in the four corners of the city, leading to Soteropolitano and tourist the best of music, theater, dance, poetry, photography, gastronomy, fairs, crafts, sports and more. The Festival is to highlight the show of Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, to be held at Farol da Barra.
Moreover, Salvador will host the largest amateur volleyball event in the world - the Super Balcony, dance group presentations with more followers in Brazil - Fit Dance, orchestrated shows three great maestros singing songs reminiscent of the city, between dozens of other actions.
